Held on the second Saturday of every month, the market brings the finest produce of the prime agricultural countryside around Stevenage right to the heart of the town.

The market is held in the High Street market place, Stevenage opposite the White Lion Hotel ('Mulberry Tree'), SG1 3EA.

Treat yourself to a change from mass-produced food from multinational supermarkets and come and taste the difference! At Stevenage Farmers Market you'll be buying directly from the producer.

Stevenage Farmers Market is run by a non-profit-making committee of five volunteers. Through licensing fees, it has contributed thousands of pounds to Stevenage Borough Council since 2008, for example £1,456 during the 2014-5 Financial Year. Surplus monies are donated to charity, such as 2014's £500 donation to the Royal British Legion and are used to finance the ground-breaking free bus service.

Please note, Stevenage Farmers Market Committee is an entirely independent body with no links to any other organisation.

The assistance of the following individuals and organisations in publicising the market, whether by banner display or handbill distribution, is gratefully acknowledged: Mr & Mrs A Fraser, John & Liz McKenzie, The Comet newspaper, David & Kylie Sheppard, Stevenage Club & Institute, Stevenage Town Centre Management, The Thomas Alleyne Academy and Mr & Mrs Tony White.
